18 Where there is no vision, the people perish…
Tell me about your dreams. What do you dream of for your family? Your career? Your home? Your children? What are your dreams? How big is your dream? Do you need help? Where will your dream take you? Lets take a look at the rest of this verse.
Proverbs 29:18 King James Version (KJV)
18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Is your dream inspired by the Word of God (the law is the word of God)? If your vision is inspired by God then you will be happy living out your dream.
Recently I heard the testimony of a man that received Jesus when he hit the top. Some people find Jesus when the hit rock bottom. This guy had the car, the house, the wife, the kids, the money, etc. He had it all according to the worlds standards. He had been the president of several corporations and much more. Yet he was not happy.
When you keep God's Word you will have God inspired dreams. As you work out God's dream for your life you will be happy. You will have the joy of the Lord with you all day long, everyday.
Speak the Word:Father the Word of God is first place in my life. My vision is growing as I live out the Word of God in my life. I am happy. I am filled with the joy of the Lord.
