Romans 8:29 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
29 For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;
Just like Jesus. Before the foundation of the world God was planning for you to be just like Jesus. You are becoming just like Jesus. You are learning to love just like Jesus. You are becoming holy just like Jesus. You are becoming pure just like Jesus. You are becoming powerful just like Jesus. You are becoming humble just like Jesus. In fact God loves you just as much as He loves Jesus.
John 17:23 New International Version (NIV)
23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Just like Jesus. It can happen fast or slow. If you seek God and cast aside every sin and weight that slows you down it will happen faster. If you are casual about God or permit sin to be in your life it will take you longer. Don't wait. Step into God's plan for your life and become "Just like Jesus."
Speak the Word: Father, I am walking in your plan for my life. I am becoming just like Jesus. I seek you with all of my heart, mind, and strength.
