Proverbs 18:21 King James Version (KJV)
21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Do you know how much power is in your words? The power of death and life is in your tongue. Wars are started because of words. The words of the President of the United States can stop or start wars. Corporations thrive or fail because of words. The owner of a company can hurt or help a company by what he/she says. Decisions are expressed in words. When your boss tells you to do something he/she will use words to communicate with you. Words control the course of our lives. If we say "I would like to be a doctor". Those words set a course towards education and everything else that goes with becoming a doctor. Your words contain the power of life or death. Therefore chose life in what you say and in what you think.
Speak the Word:Father, my words have power. I determine that my words will give life to everyone I meet. I enjoy the fruit of my words. I enjoy life.
