My husband has moved out and wants a divorce, he is an alcoholic and marriage and children is getting in the way of his partying lifestyle. He chooses his "friends" over his kids. I have said some pretty nasty things to him, I am hurt and I really do want our marriage not to end but I have been praying that he some how comes to realize we are more important than drinking. I seem not to be able to shut my mouth. I pray to the Lord to forgive me and to help me forgive my husband, I can't hold on to these hurt feelings or it will destroy me. but I am having a real hard time with forgiving him. He may never come home and I need to move on it is just so hard when all I want to do is save my marriage and family, but I say things I don't mean. I feel like a loser. I have been praying for some kind of peace of mind and asking the lord to help me work on the forgiveing part but I am not there yet. It is a couple days before Christmas and I have never felt more alone even though I am with my kids, this is a deeper loneliness. I want my family to be back together but not with alcohol in the picture. Please pray that my husband has a change of heart and decides to come home to stay and get help for his drinking. I pray that the Lord Blesses our family and keeps us from evil.

I have been in my second marriage fo 2 1/2 years and I think that my husband and I have a beautiful relationship when we are getting along. However we have experienced some difficult times since we've been together. A few months into the marriage I got pregnant and was very ill and missed alot of work which cause a financial crunch for us. After delivering I suffered from post-partum syndrome, and still deal with it now that my child is 17 months old. After returning to work in 04/05 I experience trouble with my bills and had to file bankruptcy in 09/05, in 01/06 I was in a car accident with my children that has left a bigger financial strain on my family. I have been through a lot and in the meantime with all of my pain and suffering my husband has been understanding but I have not shown him the attention that he deserves. He states that I don't share is vision and I still think that I am still single because I have made some decisions without him, due to his procrastination. Before meeting him I just got out of a very bad marrige. And I have been hurt in the past. I really do love my husband and I want my marriage to work, but I really think that my husband wants to leave me. Please put us and my children in your prayers. Thanks Karen and Edward

Suzie, My marraige was heading that way and sometimes I think my husband will move out. He says hurtful things to me too so I know exactly how much hurt this sort of crisis can cause. I pray each day for me, my husband and my daughter. I will be praying for you too.

Lord Jesus, Thank your for blessing us with families. Sometimes Lord Jesus the devil wants to break us up. I pray Lord Jesus for S and her family not to suffer because of Evil. I pray for peace and change for the marraige and family life. My they both draw strength and change from you. I pray that this Christmas will be peaceful with no arguments and alchohol around.
