True peace can never come through endless meetings, discussions, agreements, books, wealth.......................true peace comes from the Lord alone. So if we spent more time with Him in prayer and less time thinking about what peace is........we might find the answer we are all searching for! May God be the One who is always glorified through His blessed Son Jesus Christ Amen.

David- we are fooled into believing that bad things happen because God wills it or Jesus has forgotten about us. You must realize that the devil is a thief and all pain, sickness, death, disease, hatred, chaos, and injustice comes from the devil. God/Jesus only want whats best for us. God wants us to prosper and live well and live forever, but there are forces in this world that want to destroy us. You must prayer for protection and strength. This world is filled with obstacles and hardships and at times it is difficult to find hope.

There is a story about a man who lived in a place filled with pain and suffering, poverty and lonliness, chaos and evil. This man filled with fear and frustration and horror kneeled down and said to God, "God! How could You let this go on???!!! How come You are not sending any help?!!!! God replied, "I did send help.... I sent you!"

1IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word ([a]Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God [b]Himself.(A)
2He was present originally with God.
3All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
4In Him was Life, and the Life was the Light of men.
10He came into the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him [did not know Him].
11He came to that which belonged to Him [to His own--His domain, creation, things, world], and they who were His own did not receive Him and did not welcome Him.
12But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name--(
