Increasing your capacity
Daily Golden Footprints
Wednesday, June 18, 2008
The Lord began speaking to me this morning about increasing your capacity. Your will find that God moves according to your faith. If you are right where you have always been, how can you expect anything different. You have to work on our faith capacity. (Matthew 9:29) Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Is your faith growing? Or is it stuck where it has been for years?
How do you increase our capacity? For Him? For The Word? For His Holy Spirit?
1. Faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Have you been feeding on faith so that you can receive from God? (Romans 10:17) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. Is your mind renewed? (Romans 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3. Have you decided to think GodĒs way? It is an attitude. (Ephesians 4:23) And be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
4. Do you daily choose? With every thought and deed? (Deuteronomy 30:19) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
5. Are you calling those things which are not in the natural into the Spiritual? (Romans 4:17) ...and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
6. Are you acting on the Word of Faith? It is also an act of faith. An action you must do. Are you acting on your faith decision? Are you taking on that new man by renewal in the Holy Spirit and in the Word of God? (Colossians 3:10) And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
7. In past days, it was referred to as renewing yourself in the Lord every day. There was a really strong movement in the seventies to be sure to get your quiet time with the Lord each morning before you start your day. (2 Corinthians 4:16) For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
Increasing your capacity is your task. You have to make room for it and then God will do it for you. It is your responsibility.
(Mark 16:20) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
(Psalms 107:20) He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
These guys were ready. They had renewed their capacities. (Acts 17:11) These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so. There is a whole sermon right there in that verse.

Oh Yes! when an unclean spirit leaves a man...(when you defeat adultery, lying, stealing, cheating, etc, etc.) increse your capacity for faith (read the Bible, go to church, assemble with others in sunday school, do God's work, building and strengthening your faith). don't just do nothing after you've gotten the victory, for if you don't guard the city gate (your heart) the evil spirits will come back with friends even more wicked than the other sins that once beset you (maybe blasphemy) and the last state, will be worse than the first. Don't just rest on your laurels, those who endure to the end, shall be saved! What heve you done for ever increasing faith lately? Thank you for sharing this marvellous revelation that God allowed us to grow into the knowledge of, that increases our capacity for even more faith. *AMEN*

Thank You
Dave
