Would you please pray for me as I prepare for my daughter's graduation party and for her going away to college? I have 2 children, my son is 20 and my daughter is 18. My son at the age of 13 choose to live with his Dad, so my daughter has been at home with me. Preparing for her graduation party has brought many emotions of joy (for my daughter moving on to other chapter in her life) and fear (for me of the loneliness of not having anyone at home). The Lord is always with me and I know He will see us through but there are days when I get so weepy thinking about her being gone......she will be 4 hours away, which isn't far but it is far enough. She doesn't know anyone that is going to her college, so I am very proud of her for choosing this one and not choosing where many of her friends are going (which would be 45 minutes from home). My daughter has felt that this college is where the Lord wants her to be. Can I also ask that you pray for her relationship with her boyfriend who is unsaved? My daughter knows that she is unequally yoked and is constantly praying for his salvation.....but they have talked about staying together through college and have also talked about marriage. I pray that the Lord will have His perfect will done in this situation.
Thank you for your prayers!
Dear Lord, we pray for this mother and ask that you will continue to be with her. Provide to her the strength even though she will not be living with anyone at home. We ask that you will continue to show this daughter your guidance as she heads to college. In Jesus Name We Pray Amen.
Lord, I ask and pray for strength in TET's situation with her family's comings and goings, and especially he daughter who's already contemplating co-habitating with the opposite sex, and talks of marriage before a graduating degree. Please lead and guide her to "JUST SAY NO!" to the many thinhs of the world that can easily beset her to make bad choices. Bless her with the spirit of wisdom, and the high standards and keeping with the integrity of your word, as it relates to Your followers and all who call on Your name. I pray that she gets her priorities straight, that the God, family, and education comes first, and all the rest shall be added. In Jesus' name I pray. *AMEN*
"Lord I ask that you give this sister in the Lord the strength and courage as not only her daughter but she enbarks on a new chapter of their lives. I pray that you protect her daughter as she goes to college, and give her the wisdom of what can be if she is unequally yoked. I pray for the boyfriends salvation because you would have none to perish but all come to repentance. Lord I pray that you will show TLT that she is not alone and that you are always there, please show her what to do in the time that she would normally spend with her daughter. In Jesus Name Amen"
Father, I ask that You be with TLT during this difficult time. It's bittersweet to see a child growing and going off to college. There is excitement for the new phase life is bringing...but sorrow as that new phase will mean change, and separation. I pray that You would comfort TLT. Give her a sense of Your peace, and allow her to rest in the knowledge that You are right by her side.
I pray for her daughter, as she is embarking on a new journey. I pray for strength and courage, and she begins this new phase in her life. I ask that You would please guide and protect her at her new college.
In Jesus Name.Amen.
