I want to ask for prayers for my mom.
On a vacation trip to Hawaii, she broke her foot. They gave her a boot to wear, and she thought all was well. When she returned home, she went to an orthopedic doctor who told her her foot was not healing properly and she would most likely need surgery. She went to get a second opinion...and it was confirmed that she would need surgery.
She is scheduled for surgery on Friday, June 6th.
There are 2 concerns for this...
She is on blood thinning medication...which she will need to go off of for the surgery, and a couple days afterwards...this puts her at a very high risk for blood clots.
Another concern is financial...she does a lot of standing for her job...and after the surgery will not be able to do so...so she will be out of work for at least 2 weeks without pay. In this day...with everything as expensive as it is...2 weeks without pay makes life difficult.
During the surgery, they will be putting a pin in her foot that will be sticking out of the botton of her foot...which means she won't be able to put any pressure on her foot for 2 weeks. Total recovery time for this surgery is approximately 6 to 8 weeks...though it could be longer.
Please pray God's protection for my mom...both physically and financially.
I know God could even work a miracle and heal her foot so she doesn't have to have surgery at all...but if that is not in His plan...I just pray a prayer of protection for her. I pray that she would have a sense of peace and calm.
I also want to ask that during this time you pray for my dad as well...that God would give him the strength and patience to help my mom through this.

Dear Lord, we ask for healing for JM's mother. We ask for complete recovery in Jesus Name Amen.

Lord, as Jm struggles with her anxieties over her mom's fate as she undergoes surgery to correct the problems with her foot, please encourage her in your promises to those who call on your name in belief and faith, that asking You whatsoever we will, that if we can have the faith of a mustard seed, that we can move all the anxieties, the mountains, all obstacles that interferes with our inheritances. I pray as Jabez did, and for all the provisions likewise for this mom. In jesus' name I pray. *AMEN*
