Prayer Request

Prayer request for patience and forgiveness, please

Prayer warriors, I humbly come to you to ask for prayer. It has been a trying day, Lord, with nasty natured and short tempered coworkers today. Please Lord, let me show them your Grace and Peace, and give an example to kindness, even though inside I wish to be angry with their bad behaviors. Let me show them the patience, Lord, that you always show us in forgiveness. Let me ride with Your peace through any anger, and show grace but firmness to my teenage daughter, who is also trying my patience today, but is a very good kid. Let me forgive my enemies, drop pride and any petty feelings to focus on Your light, Your Way! I pray for mine enemies, Lord, and take up the armor and strength only You can give. Let me calmly switch gears now, leave work at work, and fix a lovely dinner for my family, infusing the dinner time with peace, not carrying the strife and rough energy for angry coworkers earlier today. I have an excellent family, Lord, and am very blessed at home. Please allow me to focus on all your good, and not react to Satan's bait from the anger of strangers. In Jesus' name, Amen

Lord, I thank you that Butterfly can get the answer to her question posted to me earliar for the difference surrender and giving up. Tab you have demonstrated that we need to always pray for strength to endure, while casting all of our cares on Jesus, no matter how long we're faced with adversity. To give up would to let our circumstances make us act out of character and lose it! but if we cast all these cares on Jesus, surrendering them totally to him, and not to worry about the outcome, then we're depending on the hope that he promises, and this is a sign that we've not given up on ourselfs and God. God always have a ram in the bush, and he sent you here with this petition to qualify what was said earliar about keeping our hand in God's hand, unwavering in our faith, surrendering/relinquishing all to God with the trust and faith that he'll make things right in due season. May the Lord give you leave to enter into his rest, from all of your trials from work and tribulations with family. In Jesus' name I pray. *AMEN*
