John 15:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
Power! Jesus's words have great power. Did you notice that the words of Jesus can "remain" in you? They can live in you or abide in you. The words of Jesus are the force, the power that the earth was made from (John 1:1-3). As the words of Jesus live in you they will change you. They will make you to be like Jesus. As you feed on the words of Jesus, as you think on His words, you will become like Jesus in what you say and how you act. You will want the things that Jesus wants. In fact you will "ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you."
Speak the Word:Father, I am seeking you with all of my heart and my mind and my strength. I meditate on the words of Jesus and I let the words of Jesus change me. I ask whatever I wish, and it is given to me. Thank you Father.
