1 Thessalonians 5:2 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.
I have an alarm system on our house. If a thief comes in the night we are prepared, the alarm will sound, and the monitoring company will call the police. We have made preparations to stop the thief.
Have you made preparations for the return of the Lord? Now, more then ever before, it looks like the Lord will be coming very soon. I am getting my family ready. I am getting prepared. But how do you prepare for the return of Jesus?
1) Spend more time in the word of God.
2) Spend more time in prayer.
3) Do what God tells you to do.
Speak the Word:Father, I look forward to the return of the Lord. I will spend more time in the word. I will spend more time in prayer. Father I will follow the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit within me.
