James 1:4 King James Version (KJV)
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
"Let patience" You can allow patience to work in your life. This verse says "let". This is up to you. When you were born again you received the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit did not leave patience behind. No, patience came with the Holy Spirit (Gal 5:22-23). You can allow patience to work through you or you can fight to do it your way.
Take the way of patience. When you do you will be perfect, entire, wanting nothing. The word perfect in this verse is similar to - finished, mature, complete. Entire has to do with - complete in all respects, whole, in no part wanting or unsound. With patience you will have everything you need. You will be wanting nothing.
Speak the Word:Father, I thank you for patience. You have given me patience through the Holy Spirit and I will allow patience to work in my life. I am whole, complete, and lacking nothing.
