Colossians 3:17 New International Version (NIV)
17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Whatever you do, give thanks. I am good with computers. Yet, I need to give thanks to the Lord for my computer skills. It would be easy to say "hey I wrote that program on my own." But the Word of God shows me that I need to give thanks to God. Why? I could not have done it without God. Everything I have came from God at one time or another. When I give thanks to God I am taking the time to recognize the one who created all things. Take a moment and thank God for all of the good things He has done for you.
