2 Corinthians 6:16 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
16 Or what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,

"I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM;

AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.

God's will is to live in you. God has longed to dwell in you and walk with you. It is God's will for you to be a child of God. As a believer, you are the temple of God.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 New International Version (NIV)
19 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Your body is the temple of God and God expects you to honor God with your body. Now, would God tell you to honor Him with your body and the make you sick to teach you something? God would never bring sickness and disease to the temple of God! God is going to treat your body with the same honor and respect that He expects you to have for your body.

1 Corinthians 6:13-20 Amplified Bible (AMP)
13 ...The body is not intended for sexual immorality, but [is intended] for the Lord, and the Lord [is intended] for the body [to save, sanctify, and raise it again].

14 And God both raised the Lord to life and will also raise us up by His power.

15 Do you not see and know that your bodies are members (bodily parts) of Christ (the Messiah)? Am I therefore to take the parts of Christ and make [them] parts of a prostitute? Never! Never!

16 Or do you not know and realize that when a man joins himself to a prostitute, he becomes one body with her? The two, it is written, shall become one flesh.

17 But the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.

18 Shun immorality and all sexual looseness [flee from impurity in thought, word, or deed]. Any other sin which a man commits is one outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

19 Do you not know that your body is the temple (the very sanctuary) of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received [as a Gift] from God? You are not your own,

20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.

God would never make you sick or put sickness on you to teach you something. God would never dishonor something He has called holy. Your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is God's will for you to be in good health. God wants you healthy whole and full of life.

Speak the Word: Father, it is your will for me to be healed and healthy. Your desire is for me to be made whole in every way.
