Ezekiel 36:25-28 New International Version (NIV)
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 28 You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.

Father; put in us a clean heart, a heart that seeks only your will. Cleanse us from all impurities. Cleanse us of the distractions like TV, radio, and movies. They distract us from doing your will. Open the eyes of our understanding. Show us clearly how short our lives are. Make it obvious to us that our time on earth is short. Make it clear to us that we do not have time to pursue our own passions. We only have enough time to pursue those things God has called us to pursue.

Father, we ask that you sprinkle clean water on us. Sprinkle it into our eyes so that we can clearly see sin and the effect of sin on the world around us. Reveal to us why Jesus had to die for sin. Give us revelation into the sacrifice of Jesus. Why was it not enough for us to be good people? Why is that "all" have fallen short of the glory of God.

Father, you put your Spirit in us when we received Jesus. You removed our stony heart and put in us a heart of flesh. Move us to follow your decrees. Give us a passion, a fire for doing your will. Not just to understand your will but to do your will in everything we set our hand to do. Give us a Spirit to love you and obey you.

Father, you have given us a land flowing in wealth and abundance. We do not lack any good thing. We have enough to be a blessing to those around us. We are a blessing to the body of Christ first and then as a witness to world at large. We hunger and thirst for you Lord. We desire and seek you with all of our heart, mind, and strength.

Speak the Word: Father, place in me a clean heart and remove any hardness in my heart. Refresh your Spirit in and move me to follow your decrees and to do your will.
