2 Timothy 1:7 Amplified Bible (AMP)
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Sometimes I am not as bold as I should be. Do you have moments when you feel timid? Do you have to do something that intimidates you? That awkward uncomfortable feeling like you are out of place is an awful feeling.

What about cowardice, a craving, cringing, fawning fear? You know these things are designed to get you to give up! Satan is trying to take you out and he will use fear to get to you. Do you use fear or death in your vocabulary?

"I'm afraid not."

"That scared me to do death."

"Don't get in front of that car. I'm afraid you'll get hit."

"Doesn't that just blow you away?"

"My head is killing me!"

Satan came to steal, kill and destroy. Fear and the fear of death are two of Satan's tools. Don't let Satan sneak his weapons into your vocabulary.

Mark 11:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Jesus instructed us to do to things that move mountains - speak and believe. You can use that for good or for bad. If you say "My head is killing me!" and you believe it in your heart, then you are putting your fear into action. You have applied your faith and spoke it with your mouth. You have given power to something you really do not want.

Look, you have been given a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. However, you have to believe in your heart and say it with your mouth. Get your faith lined up with the gifts God has given you and watch the power of God work in your favor.

Speak the Word:Father, I have a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. I am bold, fearless, and courageous. I have what I say.
