Hebrews 8:6 New International Version (NIV)
6 But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.

We are going to look at three areas that your covenant with God covers - health, wealth, and wisdom. Today we are going to focus on wealth.

3 John 1:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Above all things God wants us to prosper and be in good health. God did not send Jesus so that you could barely get by until you enter Heaven. As a parent do you pray that children stay in poverty? Or that they barely have enough to get by? No, parents work hard and strive to give their children a better life than they had.

With all of his great wealth, could King Solomon buy a glass of ice water in the summer? No. King Solomon had people that would fan him when it was hot, but he did not have Air Conditioning. The fastest King Solomon could travel was on horseback. We are rich in comparison. We have refrigerators that keep our food cold and keep things frozen, even in the summer. We have Air Conditioning to keep us cool during the summer months. We travel by car and jet airplanes. We can get to the other side of the world in hours, instead of months. You are already very wealthy and God can increase your wealth.

Luke 6:38 King James Version (KJV)
38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Did you notice who would be doing the giving? "Men shall give into your..." Your wealth will come from men. God will use men to give unto to you. In this verse, Jesus tells us how God will get wealth into our hands. God is going to use "Sowing and reaping". You will give to and it will return to you greater than what you gave. Get into the giving flow and watch God increase you as you go.

Speak the Word: Father, I am a giver. As I give I also receive, good measure, pressed down and in overflowing proportions shall men give to me.
