1 Thessalonians 5:23-24 Amplified Bible (AMP)
23 And may the God of peace Himself sanctify you through and through [separate you from profane things, make you pure and wholly consecrated to God]; and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved sound and complete [and found] blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah).

24 Faithful is He Who is calling you [to Himself] and utterly trustworthy, and He will also do it [fulfill His call by hallowing and keeping you].

I know many people who are running around asking, "What has God called me to do?" or "What am I supposed to do with my life?" In these verses, we see that God is calling all of us to be Holy. The word "Holy" means to be set apart or to be separated from. When you are "Holy" you have separated yourself from the world. To be Holy is to make yourself available to God. The real question is, do you trust God?There are numerous verses in the bible, which clearly indicate, those who are holy live a better life than those who are not. Look at Matt 5 and 6. Jesus says "blessed are..." in verses 1 - 11. The word "blessed" means to be empowered to prosper.

Deuteronomy 8:18 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
18 "But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

Notice that power to make wealth came from God to Abraham. God can give you the same power. That is why Jesus used the word "blessed". Jesus was trying to show us how we can be wealthy God's way instead of the world's way. In fact, Jesus came so that we could have life more abundantly.

John 10:10 Amplified Bible (AMP)
10 ...I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).

Do you trust God enough to live "Holy"? If you live your life "Holy" you will have life and enjoy life in abundance, to the full, until it overflows.

Speak the Word: Father I trust your Word. I live my life Holy before you, because I know that you always keep your word. Therefore, I have a life of abundance, a life that overflows with every good thing.
