Hebrews 11:1 King James Version (KJV)
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

The words "hoped for" in this verse has to do with a "confident expectation of something good or desirable". Notice that faith has a substance. Faith is a force or a power. When you have a confident expectation of something you have given it energy or power to become.

Take a look at the room you are in. Look at the things around you. Let's look at the chair you are sitting on. Someone had to have a confident expectation that they could build that chair. It went from an idea to a drawing. They had to find sources to purchase the parts that the chair is made of. Then they assembled those pieces into a chair. Someone put faith in action to create the chair you are sitting on.

When you have a confident expectation in what the Word of God says then you are using your faith to cause the Word of God to work in your life. When you put your faith to work your faith will become the blueprint for what you are believing. God will go to work to bring you the parts you need to produce what you are believing. Your faith will help you to assemble it. In the end, everyone will be able to see the great things that God has done through your faith. So get to work. Put your faith on everything that God has promised you.

Speak the Word:Father, I have a confident expectation that you will fulfill every promise you have made in the Bible.
