John 3:16 New International Version (NIV)
16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Do you feel like God loves you? Don't go by how you feel. Regardless of how you feel, this verse will not change. Your feelings won't change the fact that God does love you.

From the foundation of the earth, God knew everything that you would ever say or do. He knew every sin you would ever commit, and God said, "I love you". There is nothing you can say or do to make God love you any less or any more than the day when God said, "I love you".

Some people spend their lives trying to earn God's love. They do things for their Church, friends, neighbors, etc. because they want God to love them more. Well, it won't work. God loves you more than you could imagine, and there is nothing you can do to make God love you any more then He already does.

When I was a child and I misbehaved, my parents would send me to my room. On occasion I got a spanking. Now, at that moment I was hurt and angry at my parents, but regardless of how I felt, they still loved me. In fact, they did not care if I was mad at them or not; they loved me regardless of how I felt.

God is the same way. God's love for you has nothing to do with how you feel. God loves you when you are good and when you are bad. God loves you unconditionally.

Romans 8:38-39 New International Version (NIV)

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Speak the Word:God, you love me when I am good and when I am bad. Your love for me never changes.
