Hebrews 2:15 New International Version (NIV)
15 and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death.
"Fear" will put you in bondage. Fear will stop you from doing the things you should do. If God tells you to share Jesus with your neighbor fear can stop you from doing it.
Fear will cause you to doubt. Someone might be afraid that they will not be able to pay the bills. That fear will stop you from trusting God.
Philippians 4:19 New International Version (NIV)
19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Don't be afraid of your bills. God has promised that he would meet your needs. Instead look for the opportunity that God is sending your way. Look for the work that God will give you so that you can pay your bills. Sometimes God will give us the money to pay our bills. But most of the time, God will send us opportunity instead of cash. So, stay alert for the opportunities God is giving you and get ready to work. God will meet all of your needs!
Speak the Word:Father, you supply all of my needs according to your riches. I do not fear but I believe only.
