Have you noticed that the News can only tell you what has already happened. They can't tell you what is going to happen in the future. God can tell you about the future. God knows the beginning from the end. God already knows what will happen. So find out for yourself. Get your news from the source. Get your news from God.
John 16:13 New International Reader's Version (NIRV)
13 But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own. He will speak only what he hears. And he will tell you what is still going to happen.
Spend time praying in the Spirit. Listen to the Holy Spirit and He will show you things to come. The Holy Spirit will lead you towards what you are supposed to do, who you are supposed to marry, where you should invest your money, who you should be friends with, etc. Get in touch with the Holy Spirit. Let Him lead you and guide you.
The Holy Spirit is like your conscience but with more authority. If you are uncertain or have doubts then it probably was not the Holy Spirit. If you have a certainty on the inside of you, you just know such and such is the right thing to do and it lines up with the Word of God then go for it. As you follow the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit you will get better and better at it. You may make a few mistakes as you go along. But that is OK. God already knows about those mistakes and He has already provided you with a way out. Just stick with the Holy Spirit and you will clinch the victory!
Speak the Word:Father, you know my future and my past. I trust you and I will follow the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit.
