John 10:4-5 New International Version (NIV)
4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5 But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice."
You know the voice of God. A lot of times we call it our conscience. It is like a knowing. You just know the right thing on the inside of you. Listen for the voice of God. Especially when you are making important decisions - Marriage, jobs, where to live, where to go to school, where to go to Church, etc. Listen for the voice of God.

7 Be still. Be patient. Wait for the Lord to act...
Sometimes you will have to wait. Sometimes you will have to be patient. God will always move at the right time. Wait for that timing. Wait until God says it is time to go. I have jumped the gun in the past. Usually if I jump the gun I make a mess of things. As I have learned to be patient and wait on God I have found that my life just works out. Problems that I feared just never happen. The closer that you follow God the easier that your life will be.
I should explain what I mean by "easy". Look, you will still have the same problems and issues, but you will find everything easier to deal with. You will not get stressed out over things because you will have confidence that God will work it all out for your good. You will relax at times that used to stress you out. Things that were really hard for you to do will get easier and easier. Just let go and let God.
Speak the Word:Father I hear your voice and I do what you tell me to do. You will not forsake me. You will be with me even to the end of the world.
