Matthew 6:24 Amplified Bible (AMP)
24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in).

Are you working for a living or are you working for a giving? Are you working to pay your debt or to give to God? You have to pay your bills every month. As long as you live the bills will not go away. When you give to God you are laying up treasures that will last for ever.

Matthew 6:19-20 New International Version (NIV)
19 "Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

You will be in heaven forever! Now, forever is too big for me to grasp. I do have a better grasp of 5,000 years. So let me ask you... what did you do today that will make a difference 5,000 years from now? The most important thing you can do is something that will still be important 5,000 years from now. Make an investment that will pay you interest for the next 5,000 years. Invest in the Kingdom of God. Wall Street will never give you dividends in heaven but the Kingdom of God will.

7 I want each of you to take plenty of time to think it over, and make up your own mind what you will give. That will protect you against sob stories and arm-twisting. God loves it when the giver delights in the giving.

8 God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done.

Speak the Word:Father, I serve you and not money. I give my money when you ask me to give and I believe that you will provide me with more then enough for my every need and for every good work.
