Psalm 23:2 Amplified Bible (AMP)
2 He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters.

"He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures." Do you take time for rest and relaxation? Don't push your self to the point of collapse. Your body needs rest. Follow the leading and guiding of God. Rest when God says it is time to rest.

Matthew 11:29 Amplified Bible (AMP)
29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls.

God is not a slave driver. The devil is, but God is not. Yes, God expects us to work. God also expects us to relax and rest. So be obedient when God tells you it is time to wind down.

"He leads me beside the still and restful waters." When God leads follow. This is a very dangerous time to live. Follow the leading of God. Follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and God will keep you safe and sound.

Have you ever spent any time near a lake? A quiet and peaceful lake? God wants to restore and renew your strength. You cannot do the things God has called you to do if you are not well rested. You have to be at your best and you wont be if you are not well rested. Listen to God and you will find rest for your soul.

Speak the Word: Father you make me lie down and rest. You lead me to tranquil peaceful places so that I can fulfill what you have called me to do.
