Psalm 91:5 New International Version (NIV)

5 You will not fear the terror of night,

nor the arrow that flies by day,

Today you might say, "I will not be afraid of the bombs at night or of the bullets by day." You know one of the reasons you do not have to be afraid is because you know where you are going. You are going to heaven. Now if you do not know where you will go then death would be something to fear.

Why be afraid? The word says "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." We are going to a far better place.

Revelation 21:4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."

Heaven is a place with no pain.

Psalm 16:11 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
11 You will make known to me the path of life;

In Your presence is fullness of joy;

In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

Heaven is a place of pleasure forever.

Matthew 6:20 New International Version (NIV)
20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.

Heaven is place with no crime. Your treasures will be safe.

Matthew 25:34 Amplified Bible (AMP)
34 Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

God has been planning and preparing heaven just for you.

Luke 15:7 New International Version (NIV)
7 I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Heaven is a place of rejoicing.

Speak the Word: Father I have nothing to fear. Jesus is the Lord of my life and I am on my way to heaven.
