Psalm 91:1-2 Amplified Bible (AMP) 1 HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!
Where do you dwell? When it comes to your thought life where do you live? What do you think about? Dwelling in the secret place of God has to do with thinking about God and spending time in prayer. Set your affections on God. Set your attention on God. As you do you will build a fortress, a refuge that will keep you safe in times of trouble.
Psalm 91:3 New Living Translation (NLT) 3 For he will rescue you from every trap
and protect you from the fatal plague.
Live in the secret place with God and God will save you from every trap and keep you safe from every fatal plague. Satan has set out traps for you. Living in this life is kind of like walking through a mine field. You have to be diligent to watch and keep your eyes open. Satan is trying to destroy you. Satan is looking for some way to set a trap or put a deadly plague on you. But God! God is looking to rescue, protect, and save you from everything that could harm you. Stay in the secret place with the Lord and do not wander away from God's protective covering.
Speak the Word: Father I abide in you. I think about you. I stay in prayer because you are my refuge and my fortress. I follow the leading and guiding of the Holy Spirit and I stay with in your protection.
