God's plan for his children is that they live a successful life, so every Christian should understand this simple truth, "THERE IS NO FAILURE IN GOD"

Why then are many Christians not living successful Christian life? The fault is not with God but with the individual believer. Not every Christian knows what the word of God has to say, consequently, that Christian does not experience successful life.

This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall mediate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein, for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success Joshua 1:8

What God was saying, to Joshua was "get connected to My Word, it will help you to become successful in many areas of your life, and it will change your life."

Success does not consist of the amount of wealth you possess, that is the world measurement, which is not for the believers. But I can say for the Christian that success means your stand with the word and how victorious you are, how you have come through your battles. All of us face battles, some are just about to enter one, some have just come through one, and some are in the midst of one, till the day we die, we will have battles, but we know Him who takes care of our battles. The word of God helps you to go through your troubles, for the battles is not yours but the Lord. You are a winner with Jesus.

He said "He shall deliver you in six troubles, yes, in seven there shall no evil touch you/f Job 5:19

That means 7 days of the week he will deliver you, 365 days of the year, He will deliver you out of all your troubles. God encouraged Joshua by giving His promise and the assurance of His presence and reminding him that his success comes from the word. Jesus does not say there is no storm, He says I am here, do not toss but trust.

Never permit one failure to rob you of future victory, when God sees that we have obeyed His word, He comes with encouragement and guidance for the next step. It has said that the victorious Christian life is a series of new beginnings. New victories ought to result in new steps of dedication, Joshua obeyed the word, and obedience to the word is the secret of success.

Joshua through the word was connected to Him, who has never failed, and being connected, he was careful to follow the regulations laid down by Moses, who also was connected, Joshua’s obedience to the word guaranteed his success. Divine connection is the sure way to success.

When God give His divine connection He will give you divine comfort, divine deliverance, divine guidance, divine power, divine health, divine fulfillment, divine prosperity, divine healing, what a wonderful package for those who get connected to God, the source of life.

"Beloved I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 2"

It is not how much, you know but what you do with what you know. Joshua made a wise choice, when he said Joshua 24:15.

"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"

Because he had a successful life as a result of his being connected to God through His word, he wants you to enjoy the same privilege. SO GET CONNECTED. "SHALOM".
